ilostmylibrary is a niche and small-scale publishing project of the Asortymentna Kimnata that works with non-fiction about art and education, with zines and art books, with books about the unlit and unheard, about what is (mental, geographical, or social) periphery and what is “out of date.”

We can work together on:
art books and catalogs of works by those artists whose practices are poorly documented, especially if their lives or work are connected to Ivano-Frankivsk and the region
non-fiction about educational and artistic practices that tend to be horizontal;
non-fiction, essays and art books about emancipatory practices, including feminism, decentralization, and decolonization;
non-fiction, essays and art books that record/fill in gray areas and losses.

The ilostmylibrary publishing project currently has no plans to translate foreign-language books into Ukrainian, but we are interested in working the other way around — translating Ukrainian nonfiction into English and promoting it to niche professional foreign audiences. Our direction of movement is more from east to west, less from west to east.
